Since then, the company has developed from a 4-man research group for hot presses into a world-renowned company specialising in innovative powder technologies and smart material engineering. Today, the head office of RHP is located in Seibersdorf, Austria while a second site can be found in the Wiener Neustadt technology and research centre, the Austrian centre for innovative materials, space-related products and smart production. A dedicated site for satellite and new space products is located in Hof am Leithaberge. With an international team of 50 scientists and engineers, RHP is involved in over 100 customer and research projects and is strongly committed to innovation – above and beyond the current state of the art.

We are your production and R&D partner, developing customer-specific paints and coatings for interior and exterior applications. RHP Attophotonics performs coronavirus surface treatments as well as conducting a wide range of tests to characterise coatings and surfaces. Smart and bionically smart surfaces mean that they exhibit innovative functions such as self-cleaning, antibacterial effects, icing protection or superoleophobic properties. A key focus lies on corrosion protection and innovative strategies for chromium-free systems. Tailor-made nanostructured coatings open up a huge field of application, including the post-processing and functionalisation of 3D-manufactured products.

Many of our customers and partners know us either as a specialist hydraulics firm or as a supplier of special lubricants. Our chemical-technical department provides a wide range of special lubricants, sealants, adhesives, casting compounds, etc. In the field of special lubricants, we have represented the Molykote brand for over 60 years. This makes us one of the most competent and experienced specialist firms in Europe. Because our customers increasingly find themselves having to deal with the growing demands of the electronics industry, we have placed an emphasis on electro-chemicals in recent years.
