Established over 30 years ago, Knight Optical is a trusted and recognised name globally in the provision of precision optical components. We do not rely on being a trusted name, we also test all optics in our metrology laboratory and visually inspect for surface imperfections ensuring that each component that leaves our premises does so in strict accordance with customer requirements, so our optics are ready-to-use upon arrival. The products are characterised by the fact that they reliably move loads of up to 115 t, are durable even in extreme conditions of use and are explosion-proof. They do so, for example, in oil and gas extraction at Arctic temperatures of -45 °C, underwater during ship repairs, in mining, in the chemical industry, in heavy plant construction and in many areas of logistics. Production takes place exclusively at the Witten site. The broad range of products is supplemented by services such as the assembly, inspection, maintenance and general overhaul of the systems as well as training courses for customers.
