Founded by my grandfather in 1946, our family-run company has been continually developing ever since in line with the market requirements – from a spare parts manufacturer for the mining industry to an inter- nationally renowned specialist in power transmission engineering. Today, we develop and produce torsionally flexible couplings at a high level of vertical integration under the REICH-KUPPLUNGEN brand. These products are predominantly used for combustion engines in stationary and mobile applications – for example in power generation plants, in construction machinery, in commercial vehicles, in railway engineering, and in the shipbuilding industry. Another essential component of our success is the “Designed to Customer” principle which allows us to create customised high-quality and long-lasting power transmission products in close cooperation with the customer. Our commitment to flexibility, quality, and on-time delivery, and our ability to respond to the most di- verse requirements are providing daily proof that customer satisfaction is of top priority to us. KB Schmiedetechnik GmbH is a highly certified West German drop forge - forgings of all steel grades, including duplex, titanium, nickel-based superalloys like Monel® or Hastelloy®, Incoloy®, Inconel® – up to 130Kg unit weight. We are a drop forge in Hagen (Westphalia), located between the historic “blade & metal" region Solingen and the “soccer city” Dortmund, specializing in small series production of safety-relevant closed die forgings from 200g to 130Kg unit weight of all steel grades and alloys according to following certifications, specifications, and standards: pressure equipment: valves, boiler systems, piping PED 2014/68/EU, AD 2000-W0, ASME/ASTM, CNIM, Alstom, MHPS nuclear power/ atomic energy and plant construction KTA3201.1, KTA1401, AVS D 100/50, Siemens, EDF/Areva/RCC-M naval architecture/ shipbuilding and offshore/ ocean engineering American Bureau of Shipping (ABS) Bureau Veritas Marine & Offshore (BV) Det Norske Veritas (DNV) Lloyds Register (LR) Nippon Kaiji Kyōkai (ClassNK) Examples are forged components and equipment like brackets, holders, chain links, hoists, lifting hooks, fasteners, pipe connections, pressure-bearing parts, parts for valves like bodies, tube connectors like fittings, flanges and manifolds or pressurized parts for boiler systems like nozzles or headers/ caps, parts and pieces for wagon construction like articulation sockets or plates for buffer systems, parts for special vehicles, weapons, military and more.

engstKabel GmbH & Co. KG was founded in 2016 by Managing Partner Dr.-Ing. Wilhelm Engst. The concept of rubber cables with highly flexible aluminium conductors was already developed around 20 years ago. As as result, the innovative ALUKAFLEX® cable concept is now the main focus of business activities. The ALUKAFLEX® aluminium cables consist of highly flexible, fine-wire aluminium conductors (class 5, according to DIN VDE 0295, or IEC 60228) and are sheathed in high-quality rubber or PUR materials. Combined with reliable aluminium connection technology, they form an innovative cable concept that makes work significantly easier for professional and industrial users and lowers costs. The cables are up to 60% lighter than conventional rubber hose cables with copper conductors and have at least an equivalent current carrying capacity for the same cross-section thanks to the sheath and insulation materials used, which are particularly resistant to temperature and weathering effects. This makes the ALUKAFLEX® product range ideal for temporary and mobile power supply solutions, for example on construction sites and for events, and for mechanical engineering applications that require highly flexible electric cables.
