Gerald O'Rourke, founder of today's DYNATECT Group, initially manufactured bellows covers and various products made of plastic-coated fabrics for the machine and tool industry in the initial phase of the company in 1945. J.D. Neuhaus GmbH & Co. KG, which employs more than 200 staff across the Group, produces pneumatic and hydraulic hoists and crane systems at its Witten site in Germany. Due to this unique specialism, J.D. Neuhaus is not only the benchmark for quality in the field, the company is also the global market leader and supplies customers in over 90 countries. The products are characterised by the fact that they reliably move loads of up to 115 t, are durable even in extreme conditions of use and are explosion-proof. They do so, for example, in oil and gas extraction at Arctic temperatures of -45 °C, underwater during ship repairs, in mining, in the chemical industry, in heavy plant construction and in many areas of logistics. Production takes place exclusively at the Witten site. The broad range of products is supplemented by services such as the assembly, inspection, maintenance and general overhaul of the systems as well as training courses for customers.
