We have been repeatedly certified by DNV to EN ISO 9001: 2008 and are also audited by key customers. As a member of the German Society for Non-Destructive Testing (DGZfP), we also participate in research and development for new non-destructive testing methods. Together with KST GmbH in Berlin and TKG GmbH in Görlitz, Gleitlagertechnik Essen GmbH forms a strong group of companies. Our company was founded in 1954. In the early days of the company, fittings were produced by aluminium chill casting. At the start of the 1980s, zinc die-casting became an established part of production. Shortly afterwards, production was expanded to include the field of aluminium die-casting. Our successful company development is still shaped by a balanced relationship between tradition and progress. Today, we supply our discerning customer base across Europe – in industrial and medical technology, mechanical engineering and the automotive, construction and furniture industries – with products made by aluminium die-casting, zinc die-casting and aluminium chill casting. With our core competence in the areas of aluminium and zinc die-casting, as well as aluminium chill casting, our customers receive daily support in producing and supplying ready-to-install casting components.
