With regard to centralised materials supply, we have developed an idea with the coded coupling station, which has become our eighth patent. We currently have the best technologies on the market. We not only have a strong relation to the mid-sized sector, we have the flexibility to service companies of every size. With sustainability in mind, we also upgrade old materials handling systems to a new technological level – without any new construction and independent of both age and manufacturer. J.H. Ziegler is your specialist partner for needle fleece materials, foam-fleece composites, non-woven materials with a multilayer structure and laminated materials with a number of different areas of application: As highly efficient acoustic absorbers in automotive interiors and exteriors; as laminating material for leather lamination or material for understitching of vehicle seats and chairs; for acoustic and thermal insulation in buildings and properties; and various other applications that include composites and abrasive discs. Currently, our manufacturing team consists of 390 employees divided across Germany, Hungary and China. In addition to synthetic fibres such as PET and PP, technical fibres such as glass and oxidised polyacrylonitrile are used. Depending on requirements, Ziegler fleeces can be water-repellent (hydrophobic), oil-repellent (oleophobic), flame-retardant and/or have insulating properties. They can be laminated with foam, leather, fabric, spun-bonded fleece, film or a number of other materials. We are certified in accordance with IATF 16949, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and OEKO TEX Standard 100.

On 17th September 1959, Günter Hermann Pohl entered his aerosol business under the company name Güpo in the commercial register. He produced cosmetics and technical sprays with, among other things, a filling and gas supply technology that he had developed. In 1975 the company gained "GmbH" status as a private limited company and in 1978, moved into a new building in Kehl-Sundheim. The focus here was on the production of water-based sprays, primarily of foaming materials for detecting leaks in systems pressurised using gas or air. The range is undergoing constant expansion with continuous development under the new management. In 1998, trading began with Abrasiva (raw materials for polishing and cleaning) as a new area of business. Initially, the focus was on polishing alumina (aluminium oxides, Al2O3). As these only meet a limited number of market polishing requirements, the range was soon expanded to include aluminium silicates, aluminium hydroxides and other abrasives, both synthetic and mineral.

Thermotec GmbH is a company specialising in equipment and machine manufacturing. We are involved in the heat recovery sector in particular. We focus our development and manufacturing on plate heat exchangers for heat exchange between two gas flows. The production of three-way process air valves is another of our focal points. In addition to these main fields, we also develop, design and manufacture a whole series of other products. The production process uses virtually exclusively stainless steel, preferably in the materials 1.4301, 1.4306, 1.4541, 1.4571, but also in other stainless steel qualities. With our currently available production area of 1740 m², partially equipped with machines with CNC control, PC workstations, CAD drawing stations and quality assurance implemented in accordance with ISO 9001, we are always one step ahead of the competition.

The Otto Junker high-grade steel foundry in Lammersdorf, Simerath (20 km south of Aachen), specialises in special alloys. Our range of materials offers customers a wide selection of high-alloy iron-, nickel- and cobalt-based varieties. These materials are melted in highly efficient induction ovens, using vacuum technology where required. Our range of products includes corrosion-resistant alloys, heat-resistant alloys, non-magnetisable alloys, hard-wearing alloys and multiple special nickel- and cobalt-based alloys. We also make cast ferrous materials designed to handle exceptionally high levels of stress corrosion from JUNKERALLOY® nickel-based alloys. We have been producing and supplying many of these materials for decades. We produce more materials than are shown on our website – about 100 varieties in total.

Drum dyeing machines and spring production machines from the brand Proll & Lohmann as well as heat and chemical surface treatment from the brand BAK are manufactured at EZM Edelstahlzieherei Mark's Werdohl plant. Among other things, the EZM metal working and service GmbH makes spindle bearings, straightening machines for round and profile materials with powered straightening rolls as well as custom orders. The innovative combination of heat, blasting, straightening, milling and planing processes at the EZM profile machining plant in Rohr/Thüringen represent a cost-effective alternative able to compete with traditional manufacturing technologies.
