BIRKAN GmbH is one of the oldest graphical stockists in Germany. It was founded in 1924 as a distributor of printing blankets, under the name Birkner & Kandlbinder OHG, with its own patent for Triumph rubber printing blankets ‒ revolutionary technology at the time. BIRKAN continues to enjoy success with its offset printing blankets, produced in-house and exported to over 100 countries worldwide. BIRKAN carries a comprehensive range of printing blankets to meet different quality requirements, suitable not only for common offset applications but also for specialised requirements in plastics, metal and intaglio printing. Our range also includes underpacking materials (sheets, foils, press boards and blankets) and measuring equipment. Our extensive inventory allows us to deliver promptly around the world. As a special service, BIRKAN also provides the option of a commissioning warehouse. A new branch of the company ‒ direct laser engraving ‒ is devoted to manufacturing elastomer printing plates.

Ruf Maschinenbau GmbH & Co. KG, based in Bavaria/Zaisertshofen, specialised in the design and manufacture of briquetting systems more than 35 years ago. As global leader in the sector of briquetting, over the years RUF has sold more than 5.000 briquetting machines in more than 100 countries. RUF presents solutions for the briquetting of wood, metal, biomass and numerous other materials.
