Filter presses are our specialty! Whether conventional chamber filter presses, accessories or fully automatic membrane filter presses. With almost 30 years of experience in filtration, AQUACHEM offers an efficient and optimal solution for many applications. We are particularly proud of our AF filter machines. The fully automatic press is a mature and reliable system that has already proven itself many times under the toughest conditions. Compared to our competitors in the market, the difference we offer lies in myriad details and, primarily, in the definition of 'fully automatic operation'. The AF filter machine continuously produces and empties filter cakes without the presence of an operator. It is guaranteed that no medium can escape in an uncontrolled manner. On the other hand, our BC series for semi-automatic applications impresses with its simplicity and at the same time maximum convenience for the operator. Small manual filter presses up to format 630 are covered by the EC series. The LCM 320 (Pocket Press Membrane), however, can be used mobile on a practical trolley, ideally on site. This machine can also be used as a test filter press in a case to make a suitable choice of cloth or to check the filterability of the suspension. In 1972, the machine builder and graduate engineer Peter Schröck established Uniflex-Hydraulik GmbH in Frankfurt/Main. Owing to pioneering innovations and extraordinary product quality, the flourishing enterprise soon developed into a global provider of machines for hose production. Uniflex-Hydraulik GmbH became a member of Freiherren Waitz group in 1992. This laid the foundation for further growth: in 1996, the company occupied a new, larger office and production building in Karben, 10 km north of Frankfurt. The subsidiary UNIFLEX of America LLC. with its present registered office in Schaumburg near Chicago, Illinois, was established in 1998 to support the markets in the Americas. In June 2004, UNIFLEX opened a subsidiary in Singapore from where our Asia-Pacific customers are served. We are also represented by offices in Tangerang/Indonesia and Shanghai/China since 2007 and 2009, respectively. Today, after 40 years, UNIFLEX is a system provider in hose production – from workshop equipment to production plants. Thanks to more than 60 years of concentrated further development of our core business, our company now specialises in producing grids and meshes of all kinds for our customers. We provide products both for retail and directly for end customers. Our company was founded in 1945 as a metalworking company with subdivisions for fencing and door construction. Even in its early years, the company incorporated a small mechanical engineering department, in order to design wire processing machines for in-house use. In the 1970s, wire weaving developed into an equally important source of income for the company. In 1978, the first fully automatic production facility for corrugated grids and stamping grids was built, the company relocated to Erkrath and new markets were opened up thanks to the company concentrating on manufacturing wire meshes. In 1995, the product range was expanded to include spot-welded grids and profile edgings. Manufacturing is now carried out on four fully automated production lines.
